The season is approximately four and one half months in length. The season generally begins the first part of October and ends with the state finals in mid February. The basketball program consist of a seventh grade and an eighth grade team with fifteen members selected for each team. The coach may elect to have student managers. Managers do not play in games. A monthly practice schedule will be distributed to the players. A uniform is provided for each player. Players are responsible for their own socks and shoes. In order to preserve the gym floor, students are required to wear a gym shoe that is not worn as an everyday street shoe. Students are subject to both the Academic and Conduct Eligibility.
