The cheerleading season is approximately five months in length. The season generally begins in September and ends in February. The cheerleading program consist of a total of fourteen seventh and eighth grade students. The coach may elect to have an “alternate”. The “alternate” will be placed on the team in the event a cheerleader is not able to perform the responsibilities. Cheerleaders will cheer at all boys basketball games and some additional school and community activities. A monthly practice schedule will be distributed to the players. A uniform is provided for each squad member. Squad members are responsible for shoes, socks, poms, and tights. Students are subject to both the Academic and Conduct Eligibility.
