The Science Team begins in early fall and culminates with state competition in early May. The Science Team is open to seventh and eighth grade students interested in creating science projects for competition. Participants may elect to do an individual or two person group project. The project along with a research paper may be presented at regional, sectional, and state competition. At competition, participants complete a presentation of his or her project and receive interview questions from the judges. The sponsor collaborates with participants to ensure the projects meet the competition criteria. Students are subject to Conduct Eligibility.
